Yard Card Rental Agreement
Yard Card Rental Payment and Delivery Policy
1. There is much care and planning put into the details of your requested rental. Therefore, payment in full is required to officially reserve your date and reservation. Non-payment will result in an automatic cancellation of your rental. Reservations made 24 hours prior to the delivery date are considered a Rush Delivery and are an additional $25 Fee.
2. Set up is typically between 9AM-1PM the day of your reservation. Pick up is typically between 1PM-5PM the day after your reservation. Any adjustments to setup/pickup times will be discussed and agreed to by all parties. Specific set up and pick up times cannot be guaranteed due to the number of bookings per day. There is a $20 Additional Day fee for beyond the 24-hour rental. There is a 3-day maximum for all rentals.

Summer Graduation rental set up is 9AM-5PM the day before the rental. Pick up is on Day 3 (three) of rental. Specific set up and pick-up times cannot be guaranteed due to the number of bookings per day. Please contact us for Winter Graduation Specifics.
3. Delivery is free and there are no shipping costs. An additional travel fee of $55 may be required for certain zip codes and will be noted on the invoice.
4. If this rental is a surprise gift, the purchaser agrees to notify someone at the delivery address of Yard Card Genie policies. By booking with Yard Card Genie, the purchaser and the recipient of the rental agrees to the following:

No removal, moving, or touching of any of the yard cards.

No attachments whatsoever to the yard cards. Up to and including balloons, streamers, etc.

No cleaning or damage of yard cards. If the yard cards are damaged at the delivery address, the purchaser agrees to pay for cleaning and/or replacement of yard cards. No one is required to be at the delivery address at time of set up or pick up.
5. If you are unsure as to whether your custom rental will fit the yard, you may send a picture of the space of the anticipated rental within 48 hours of the rental date. Unless otherwise agreed upon with Yard Card Genie, all rentals are placed in the front yard of the delivery address. This is for your protection and ours as we do set up and pick up.
6. Genies use the delivery address provided by you to locate the delivery address. It is important that you triple check and verify the delivery address to ensure you have provided the correct delivery address. If the delivery address provided by you is incorrect, Genies will try to contact you immediately. If we are unable to deliver your custom yard card because of an incorrect address provided by you, you will be charged a $65 fee for travel and planning and your rental will be cancelled and your rental fee is non-refundable.
7. A picture of your home is requested so that our Genies can locate your property correctly, since they will be setting up and picking up rentals at night.
8. Purchaser agrees to adhere to delivery address HOA and other neighborhood rules regarding yard card rentals. Yard Card Genie is not responsible for any fines or fees as a result of the rental.
9. Genies can only install yard cards on front lawns. We define a “lawn” as an area of soil covered land planted with grass only.
10. Watering lawns for a couple days leading up to your set up, and a mowed lawn makes a happy Genie. Stakes need to be secured 6 inches into the lawn. If our Genies are unable to set up because the lawn is not prepared properly, there is a $65 fee for travel and planning. Arrange lawn crews to be finished with lawn care before set up or after pick up of your custom yard card rental.
11. Yard Card Genie cleans yard cards after each rental. Normal wear and tear is expected with yard cards because of the nature of use. We do replace yard cards when we deem it necessary to offer the highest quality in the appearance of our yard card rental.
12. Barbie and Avenger Stand in Box Rental:

Only a paid in full reservation officially reserves the date.

Dimensions are 4-feet high, 2-feet long. It’s best suited a child/kid vs. an adult.

For outdoor events only.

The display can only be installed in grass. We use metal stakes to secure it in the ground.

To reserve, you’ll need to read and sign the Yard Card Agreement if booking online. Or the Barbie and Avenger Box Rental Agreement if booking via email.

No attachments whatsoever to the rental.

Once installed the Stand in Box cannot be moved or removed. Do not lean on as this could damage the display.

Yard Card Genie is not liable for any personal property damage or personal injury when using the Stand in Box rental.

Do not damage the Stand in Box. If the Stand in Box is damaged while rented at the delivery address, the purchaser agrees to pay for cleaning and/or replacement of Stand in Box and will be billed.
Refunds and Cancellations Policy
1. We will not offer refunds under any circumstances. Rather a credit will be issued on your Yard Card Genie account and will applied in full towards your next reservation.
2. We understand that life happens. Therefore, we ask that you notify us 48 hours prior to when your custom yard cards rental is delivered. If we ARE NOT notified 48 hours prior to your intended cancellation, you will not receive a customer credit on to your Yard Card Genies customer account. We can be notified by email or phone.
3. If we ARE notified 48 hours prior to your custom yard card rental, you will receive 100% of your rental fee to your Yard Card Genie customer account and can be used in full towards your next reservation. We can be notified by email or phone.
4. Our Genies reserve the right to cancel a set up if he or she feels it is unsafe to set up or pick up your rental. This includes denied access to the delivery address. We will contact you immediately if this happens and will work with you to either rectify the situation, or to arrange an alternate date and time which is subject to availability.
5. Severe weather can play a role in the timing of the set up and pick up of your yard card rental. Yard Card Genie reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a set up or pick up of your custom rental. If this happens, we will contact you immediately and will work with you to arrange an alternate date and time. An alternate date and time is subject to availability. We define severe weather as heavy rain, hail, lightning, winter storms and blizzards, and heavy winds. If your custom yard card display does happen to be noticeably moved because of weather, please contact us via email or phone so that we can re-install. A fee may be assessed for travel.
Damages and Personal Injury Policy
1. The purchaser and recipient (if different from the purchaser), agree to the following:
1. Do not remove, move, destroy or touch any of the yard cards including the advertising sign for Yard Card Genie.
2. No attachments whatsoever to the yard cards. Up to and including balloons, streamers, etc.
3. Do not clean yard cards.
4. Do not damage yard cards. If the yard cards are damaged while rented at the delivery address, the purchaser agrees to pay for cleaning and/or replacement of yard cards and will be billed accordingly.
2. Yard Card Genie and Genies are not liable for any personal property damage or personal injury when setting up, during yard card rental, or while picking up yard cards.
3. Please keep pets away from yard cards. Damages because of pets will be assessed a fee for cleaning and/or replacement of yard cards.
4. Turn off all sprinkler systems for the duration of your rental.
Photo and Advertisement Use Policy
1. We love that you love your surprise yard cards! We encourage you to stand next to, pose next to and take pictures of your custom rental. Please do not touch, remove, move or lean on yard cards. Please be mindful of children when taking photos.
2. Unless you notify us not to do so, you agree to allow Yard Card Genie to use a picture of your custom rental for advertising on our website, email, Facebook and Instagram accounts. We will take precautions to ensure any identifiable information, like you house number and street address are hidden. Yard Card Genie owns all yard card property.
3. An advertising sign for Yard Card Genie will be placed alongside your yard card rental for advertising purposes.
